TAS in Session: Chairlift

Brooklyn trio Chairlift stopped by The Alternate Side to perform a few tunes from their debut record Does You Inspire You? 

By now you’ve probably heard the band on TV or maybe at your local watering hole. The trio officially went global when Apple paired the new iPod Nano with their song “Bruises”. Sonically, the band has multiple dimensions. If you like electro-pop, it’s covered. If you like atmospheric synth harmonies, it’s layered throughout the album.

The trio started making music for haunted houses (listen to the interview) and shifted directions after leaving Colorado nearly four years ago. Chairlift is currently out on tour, they'll be supporting Phoenix and Micachu & The Shapes in the fall. Happy viewing!
