Her latest project is Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons, in Far From Heaven, the musical adaptation of Todd Haynes' 2002 film, through July 7.

The first appearance in 17 years of Magicada Septendicum has begun in parts, but not in all of the Tri-State area. Are you seeing them? Hearing them? Stepping on them? The mass emergence of Periodical Cicada Brood 2 in our region is an ecological miracle of adaptive behavior, a once-in-a-generation opportunity to observe the spectacle of nature...and an absolute nightmare for anyone with an aversion to red-eyed bugs that make noises like the Martians are landing.

Irish musician, Conor O'Brien releases music under the moniker, Villagers. His 2010 debut, Becoming A Jackal was shortlisted for a Mercury Prize and the title track of the album won the 2011 Ivor Novello award for best song both musically and lyrically.
The latest album, {Awayland} is is equally as stunning as the first.
