Question of the Day: "I'm Sorry"

Over the weekend Jack White issued an "apology" for having made disparaging remarks about The Black Keys, Danger Mouse, Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Lana del Rey, and Adele behind their backs. Instead of making his begrudging mea culpa in prose, he should have just written them a song. Saying, "I'm sorry," in song has a long tradition. Duffy grew up in a small fishing town in Wales, so the bright lights and big cities of having a #1 record are new territory.
