Jessica Lea Mayfield

Jessica Lea Mayfield - FUV Live - 2014

by Carmel Holt

Make My Head Sing… is the third full-length album from Ohio native Jessica Lea Mayfield. The new record marks a bit of a change in direction for this young singer-songwriter. The new songs have a more grunge rock feel to them as opposed to her older work, which could be described as Blues or Americana. Jessica recently stopped by Studio A to share some of the new songs and to talk with me about the inspiration behind her new album.

Jessica Lea Mayfield - Words and Music - 2009

by Claudia Marshall
Jessica Lea Mayfield is from Kent, OH and the family band One Way Rider, and recorded her full-length solo debut 'With Blasphemy So Heartfelt' with the help of The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach. The combination added a few more layers to her country-rooted acoustic sound, and Jessica and her band shared a few of the songs live during an interview with 'FUV's Claudia Marshall.
