Diana Jones - Sunday Breakfast - 2013

Jeremy Rainer

Diana Jones has roots both in New York and Tennessee. She grew up on Long Island with adoptive parents, but after college tracked down her extended birth family in Tennessee. Discovering that her grandfather had played with Chet Atkins helped her find her voice as a singer and songwriter. To record her most recent album, she took two other musicians into a cabin that's part of the Museum of Appalachia. WFUV's Studio A is a far cry from that cabin, but her Sunday Breakfast session was just as authentic.
