Seen as sort of an intellectual punk when he started out in the '70s, Elvis Costello has since proven again and again that he's not so simple to pin down. His new album 'National Ransom' is no exception, with production by T Bone Burnett and sounds that run the gamut from early country to jazz to chamber pop. Recently Elvis spoke with host Rita Houston and played some live versions of a few new songs, in front of an audience of FUV members at Manhattan's Avatar Studios. [10/19/10]
