The Secret Sisters - Words and Music - 2010

by Rita Houston
The Secret Sisters, Laura and Lydia Rogers, aren't old enough to rent a car yet, but their voices go back to an old time era of Carter Family harmonies and the music of Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. Their debut is being put out by the Legendary T Bone Burnett, and they sang and told FUV's Rita Houston that it was T Bone and Brandi Carlile that had a big impact upon their young singing career.
