Closing in on an exceptionally crowded "Big Broadcast," with ten birthday celebrations, including a first-time salute to crooner Frank Sylvano. He was everywhere in the 1920s, but must have been under contract to Brunswick for most of the decade. We'll hear him with the bands of Bennie Krueger, Isham Jones and Charley Straight, plus a very hip "solo" side, Jelly Roll Morton's "Sweetheart O'Mine." A healthy chunk of requests starting in the second half of the show, and at least ten sides unspun the first 2029 shows.
