UKNY On FUV For August 10

by Kara Manning

Saturday nights at 11 this summer, UKNY will delve into releases from bands spanning Britain, from Land's End to John o'Groats. On this week's show, new music from Big Deal, PJ Harvey, Young Fathers, Serafina Steer, Grumbling Fur and more.

The Commonwealth Cut straddles Canada and South Africa with Zaki Ibrahim and since Adam Ant is headed to New York by week's end, expect a swashbuckling classic.

Join me for UKNY Saturday nights at 11 following Vin Scelsa's "Idiot's Delight"® and Marshall Crenshaw's "The Bottomless Pit" on 90.7 WFUV, also streaming online.

Missed a show? You can find UKNY in the FUV archives.
