UKNY On FUV For July 27

by Kara Manning

Every Saturday night at 11 this summer, FUV will explore music from nascent and more established British bands via UKNY. On this week's show, new releases from Femme, Milk & Biscuits, Johnny Marr, Ghostpoet, Goldheart Assembly and more.

The Commonwealth Cut features Australia's Cloud Control and we'll spin a couple of British artists, Beth Orton and Michael Kiwanuka, who will be performing at the Newport Folk Festival on Sunday and coming to New York next week.

Join me for UKNY Saturday nights at 11 following Vin Scelsa's "Idiot's Delight"® and Marshall Crenshaw's "The Bottomless Pit" on 90.7 WFUV, also streaming online.
