Vin Scelsa is back! On tonight's "Idiot's Delight" at 8, it's the annual Easter Saturday show (streaming online only because of the on-air broadcast of Fordham's Holy Saturday mass until 10). Vin has centered the show around the opening words of Bob Dylan's classic song, "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" which are: "When you're lost in the rain in Juarez, and it's Eastertime too."

"I guess the show is really a tribute to a song," says Vin. "I feature some of my favorite versions of it, from Judy Collins to Ramblin' Jack Elliott to Bryan Ferry to the Handsome Family, with visits along the way to other songs and artists that fit the mood. Plus two tunes from David Poe's beautiful new album, God and The Girl.

That's Vin Scelsa's "Idiot's Delight,"® Saturdays from 8-10 p.m. on 90.7FM, also streaming online.

MIssed one of Vin's shows? You can find "Idiot's Delight"® in the FUV archives for two weeks after broadcast.
