For more than 15 years, encompassing five albums, Allison Pierce was part of an acclaimed duo, The Pierces, with her sister Catherine. After deciding in 2015 to pursue solo projects, Allison enlisted Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, et al.) to produce Year of the Rabbit, which Amazon describes as "an eloquent straight-from-the-heart solo debut."
