Another Security Breach at JFK
Authorities say there was another security breach at John F. Kennedy Airport. This time a passenger exited a terminal through an unauthorized door. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says it happened at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Spokesman Steve Coleman says a ticketed American Airlines passenger was at Gate 14 in Terminal 8 when he decided to have a smoke. He said the passenger went outside through an unauthorized door but was immediately spotted by the airline's employees.
Coleman said when they asked him for identification, the man ran. The employees caught him around Gate 6 and held him until police arrived. The man was identified as 42-year-old Wilfred Isidore of Spring Valley, N.Y. He was charged with criminal trespass. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
