In the spirit of music discovery which guides WFUV, our DJs offer their favorite new artists on the cusp of making it to the next level.

The Big Moon are Juliette, Soph, Celia, and Fern: four women out of London who got together less than two years ago and released a handful of self-produced singles this year that are notable for their big guitar hooks.

With tones that lean toward the fuzzy, they're got riffs, style, a sense of humor, and a strong sense of pop but don't play it safe. The Big Moon sound slightly out of control in the best sense and are poised to do some real damage in 2016.
