Hear an FUV Live session with Black Lips tonight at 9.

Atlanta rockers Black Lips are back with their seventh full-length album, Underneath the Rainbow. The record was co-produced by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys and Tommy Brenneck of The Dap-Kings, which makes total sense because you can really hear the blues, rock and soul influences that these two would likely bring to the mix. Of course there are also some southern rock tips of the hat on the album with tracks like “Boys in the Wood," which is just one of the songs the band performed for us live in Studio A. I also got a chance to talk with the band about the new record and we’ll hear that conversation and performance on this episode of FUV Live.
