Banjo player Doug Goldstein has been a key member of a couple creative string bands: Cricket Tell the Weather and Cole Quest & the City Pickers.  A student of Tony Trischka and Noam Pikelny, he's formed a band with some other fine Brooklyn-based musicians, called Dougmore, that seeks to expand the vocabulary of the banjo and explore some themes which draw on his Oberlin education.

He brought members of the band to Studio A to perform songs from their debut album, Outerboros, ahead of their October 10 "On Your Radar" appearance at Rockwood Music Hall.
