Heat Index Writer Previews NBA Season

It’s been over four months since the Miami Heat played a meaningful game. That all changes next week when the Heat open up the 2013 regular season on the road in the Windy City against the Chicago Bulls. The return of former MVP Derrick Rose is one of the many things we discussed with NBA writer Tom Haberstroh on One on One.

The pride of Westport, CT told DJ Sixsmith and Jake Kring-Schreifels that D-Rose will have a major impact on the landscape of the Eastern Conference and could be the reason why the Heat don’t make their fourth straight NBA Finals. Haberstroh also said to watch out for the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference as he thinks the addition of Paul Millsap will take Hotlanta to the next level.
