Football Offense Shines in Victory over Monmouth

The Fordham Rams ended their three-game homestand on a high note with a 54-31 victory over the Monmouth Hawks. The Rams jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and never looked back.

Junior quarterback Kevin Anderson had another impressive day for Fordham, throwing five touchdowns for the second consecutive week for 340 yards. Freshman receiver Robbi Cantelli also had a big day, catching seven passes for 119 yards. Freshman Jordan Allen came up with his first collegiate catch, a 60-yard TD reception. Sophomore running back Chase Edmonds had 137 total yards and three touchdowns, two of them catches. 

The Rams next opponent is their first Patriot League matchup of the season against the Lafayette Leopards in Easton, PA. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. with the One on One pre game report starting at 5:50 on 90.7 FM and online at
