Fordham Comes Back To Defeat Colgate, 77-73

Rams rebound from loss to Saint John's with a win over Colgate

Fordham (5-3) was able to get their second road win of the season, a 77-73 victory over Colgate (4-4), behind an excellent performance from Branden Frazier.

A Travion Leonard lay up tied the game at 70 with 46 seconds to go in the second half, while a pair of Mandell Thomas free throws gave Fordham a lead they wouldn't relinquish with 31 seconds to play.  Frazier's 27 points (including 9/10 at the free throw line) paced the Rams in a contest they trailed by as many as twelve in the first half.  Mandell Thomas' late free throws were the highlights of an 18 point evening, while Jon Severe had another uncharacteristic off night from the field (scoring just 7 points on 2/9 shooting). Four Raiders finished in double digits, with Austin Tillotson pouring in a team high 18.  The game ultimately came down to free throws, where the Rams went 23/27 at the stripe to Colgate's 7/12 at the line.
