Fordham fails to finish off Saint Joseph's
Fordham Sports Information
The Fordham Rams finished their two game home stand with another entertaining game down to the final minute. In the end, they couldn't complete the effort in losing to Saint Joseph's 66-62 at the Rose Hill Gym Wednesday night.
Like Saturday against URI, this one came down to free throws, with Branden Frazier missing the key front end of a one and one in the final two minutes and blowing a chance to put the Rams back on top. Still, the Rams didn't have Chris Gaston for the third straight contest and found themselves in a close battle throughout. Mandell Thomas chipped in with 17 points, and Ryan Canty had 14 rebounds in the loss.
Fordham drops to 6-15 on the season, and 2-4 in conference play with the loss. Saint Joseph's road victory brings their conference record to 3-3. The Rams will be in action next on the road Saturday when they take on the VCU Rams at 7 PM. The One on One Pregame Report will air at 6:55 on both 90.7 FM and WFUVSports.org.
See ya then, and Go Fordham!
