Fordham Survives Against Penn 48-45

The Fordham Rams defeated the University of Pennsylvania 48-45 on Saturday afternoon to conclude their non-conference schedule. The Rams improve to 5-1 on the season, while Penn falls to 1-3.
Fordham dominated the game early on, taking 25 point leads at two seperate point of the first half at 28-3 and 35-10. The Quakers wouldn't quit, responding with 20 unanswered points to cut the Fordham lead to 35-30, shutting Fordham out in 3rd quarter 13-0. Penn woudl tie the game at 45 with under two minutes to play, but left enough time on the clock for the Rams to drive down for a game winning Makay Redd 31 yard field goal.
The Rams'next game will be next weekend when they host the College of the Holy Cross for the battle for the Ram-Crusader Cup. Kick off is set for 1:00 pm with the One on One Pregame Report starting at 12:50 pm live on 90.7 FM, wfuv.org, and wfuvsports.org.
