Godfather Turns 45

The Godfather fan club was out in full force to help celebrate the 45th anniversary of the movie.

Long time fan Robert Turecumo said he's seen the film at least a thousand times.

"[The Godfather] is an exploration of Italian culture, and some of the basic themes of that culture," Turecumo said. "There's not many movies that celebrate Italians made in the United States."

Fans were treated to a free Italian lunch provided by Sojourn Restaurant in Manhattan. Actor Gianni Russo signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans. Russo played Carlo Rizzi in The Godfather.
