The lineup for Glasgow-based Honeyblood has always been mutable — singer, guitarist and songwriter Stina Tweeddale has worked with different drummers on each of Honeyblood’s previous albums: their 2014 self-titled debut and 2016’s Babes Never Die. For a long time, she considered Honeyblood to be a duo.

But for Tweeddale's third album, In Plain Sight, she’s finally gone solo — recruiting a touring band that includes Anna Donigan on bass and Debbie Knox-Hewson on drums.

On this edition of FUV Live, Tweeddale talks about the practical decision that led to her split with former Honeyblood drummer Cat Myers, the night terrors that inspired her new single, "She's a Nightmare," and the isolation and experimentation that makes In Plain Sight a turning point for her as a musician.
