Born of a 40-year friendship and three decades of performing as Indigo Girls, Emily Saliers and Amy Ray have have set the gold standard when it comes to consistent quality. They released their 15th studio album, One Lost Day, in June, and like the first 14, it's a beaut. Emily calls it a "travelogue," and while the songs name check places from Georgia to Ohio to Texas to California, it's more about the journey of the soul, about love and loss, about "Happy in the Sorrow Key" (as Amy's song puts it).

Just about equal to the chemistry between Emily and Amy is the rapport between Indigo Girls and their audience. That was very much in evidence when they performed songs from the new album (plus a couple of classics) in this FUV Live show for our marquee members at City Winery.
