Lake Street Dive: BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn 2017

WFUV is all about music discovery and connecting artists to fans. That same spirit is a big part of what BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! does too, and FUV and BRIC have been fans of Lake Street Dive from the very beginning.

Some of you might have been at the Beacon Theatre for Holiday Cheer for FUV in 2012 when the band kicked off the show with the confidence and energy of a headliner. Now with Rachael Price, Mike "McDuck" Olson, Bridget Kearney, Mike Calabrese and special guest Akie Bermiss at the top of the bill and in front of a packed crowd at Prospect Park Bandshell, this show was a wonderful chapter in a story of local artist development, a band working hard, and fans loving every note.
