Lukas Nelson and Promise of The Real: 2017

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Lukas Nelson is just as cool as you’d expect a Maui-raised son of Willie Nelson to be — and as talented as a musician recruited by Neil Young to play in his band.

The younger Nelson has already had a lifetime’s worth of extraordinary experiences, but he is just getting started with his band, Promise Of The Real. With a decade of heavy touring and a handful of albums already under their belt, the now six-piece group has released a self-titled album for 2017 that boasts their strongest songs. It's also elevated by vocal backing from not only Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius, but Lady Gaga to boot.
