Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post joined Kenny Ducey and myself to talk about the Jets struggles this season. Mark gave his insight on different topics ranging from Mark Sanchez to Tim Tebow to the future of the Jets coaching staff.
One thing that all three of us were able to agree on was that next year’s Jets squad would look much different than what they have now.
While it is still difficult to pinpoint which players and coaches will be departing in the offseason, the vibe is that either GM Mike Tannenbaum or Head Coach Rex Ryan will have a new home next season.
The Jets are coming off a Thanksgiving loss to the Patriots 49-19 and play next at home against the Cardinals. New York is 4-7 right now and have a lot of work to do if they have any chance of advancing to the post season.
In order to earn a post season spot the Jets would most likely have to win five in a row. This would be a very difficult task considering they haven’t put together back to back wins yet this season.
