NJ Senator Menendez Indicted on Federal Bribery Charges

After being charged with federal corruption early this month, Bob Menendez vowed to fight back, saying it was “not how my career is going to end.” But now the senator faces a long sentence—a possible 15 years for each of his eight bribery counts. He’s the first senator to face federal bribery charges since 1980.
