Morning Brief: January 25

The weekend brought the second largest snow storm in New York City history with a over nearly 26.8 inches being dumped in Central Park. But it's back to normal for the most part now. Most subways, buses and trains are expected to run close to full speed for the Monday morning commute and city schools are all open. But still plan for some delays as the city and its surrounding areas continue to dig themselves out and clean up. The Metro North service is back to normal but some trains may be combined as tracks are cleared of ice and snow. And only seven of the 12 branches of the LIRR are operational.
