Morning Brief: Janurary 27

Today is International Holocaust Day, as well as national Holocaust remembrance days in countries around the globe. It commemorates the liberation of Auschwitz in 1945, the largest of the Nazi concentration camps. Many nations are holding a number of memorials and events to honor those who lost their lives in concentration camps in WWII. Here in the US, President Obama plans to attend an event at the Israeli Embassy in Washington. And the Holocaust Museum is holding two separate events which can be watched on its website.
