Morning Brief: May 23

The Weekend won big at last night's Billboard Music Awards, taking home eight awards including Top R&B Artist. But the evening was truly dedicated to Prince, who died last month. The Weekend, who gave the first speech of the night, tearfully dedicated his win to star. And later in the show, Madonna performed a tribute to the late musician which ended with Stevie Wonder joining her onstage to sing "Purple Rain."
