9/11 forever changed the Lower Manhattan skyline.

One of the most obvious post-911 transformations is the view of Lower Manhattan from afar. 

In many ways the Twin Towers were New York's Eiffel tower... its Coliseum, and when they were destroyed the city would never look the same. As part of our special series leading up to the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, called "The New Normal," WFUV's Conor Teehan tells us about one life-long New Yorker's unique perspective.  Listen to his story below.
