New Yorkers Speaking Out for Science This Earth Day

This Earth Day is going to be a busy day in New York City. The March for Science will kick off around 11 AM. And the Sierra Club and United for Action will host a rally to drum up support for more environmentally-friendly policies. City Council Member Helen Rosenthal will be speaking at the rally. She says Earth Day can serve as a platform for those who care about the environment.

"This is a day where we can come together, renew our resolve, and stand up for future generations."

Rosenthal says she hopes these events will make it clear to the current administration that Americans care about science.
