NYC Mayoral Candidates File Disclosures
Quinn Discloses $9.3 Million

Candidates running to become the next mayor of New York City have filed required campaign finance disclosure forms.

The city's Campaign Finance Board released those statements Friday. The latest documents cover the period of July 12 through August 5.

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn has by far the most cash on hand, disclosing $9.3 million.

Former Congressman Anthony Weiner disclosed a balance of $6.1 million.

Public Advocate Bill de Blasio reported having just over $4 million and former comptroller William Thompson disclosed $3.4 million.

Comptroller John Liu (LOO) disclosed having $1.3 million. On Monday the board denied Liu public matching funds.

In the race for comptroller, the self-financed campaign of former Gov. Eliot Spitzer did not file disclosure forms. His opponent, current Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, had $4.6 million on hand.
