New York City vets collect coats for storm victims

Participants at New York City's Veterans Day Parade will collect coat donations for Superstorm Sandy victims and others in need.

Marchers along the Fifth Avenue route on Sunday will collect the donations for the New York Cares Coat Drive. The coats will be deposited in trucks at the parade.

Grand marshals at the parade will include former Mayor Edward Koch. He served in the Army during World War II and worked on behalf of Vietnam Veterans as mayor.
