Operators: 2016

The synth-pop group Operators is led by Dan Boeckner, notably of Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs, and Divine Fits.  Drummer Sam Brown, who is also in Divine Fits, also plays in the band with Boeckner and electro wizard DevoJka.

Recently Operators released their full-length debut, Blue Wave. The album effectively reawakens the New Wave sound of the '80s while also pushing in new and contemporary directions. 

Operators stopped by Studio A to talk with me about their latest record and perform some of their new material.  We’ll hear that performance and conversation during this episode of FUV Live.
