Tonight at 9pm on Words & Music, host John Platt welcomes Australian songwriting icon Paul Kelly to Studio A.
Paul Kelly isn't a household name in the U.S., but he's been a musical icon in his native Australia for more than three decades. Although his music over the years has often rocked, his latest CD, Spring and Fall, has an acoustic Blood On the Tracks kind of feel. It's a brilliant song cycle about the arc of a relationship, and I was honored to have him perform songs from it in our conversation in Studio A.
