Protest at Penn Station

 Some New York advocacy groups protested Tuesday against Governor Cuomo's plan to have private investors pay for renovations to Penn Station. Vornado, Related, and Skanska are three companies that plan to contribute $550 million to upgrades. Moynihan Train Hall will be Penn Station's new extension and advocates want it to be fully funded by the state. 

"What we're seeing is the privatization of public goods for Wall Street and for Cuomo and Trump's buddies," Charles Khan from the Strong Economy for All Coalition said.

When Moynihan Train Hall opens, it will provide access to seventeen tracks and nine platforms with direct connections to subways.
