When the band Rhye first emerged five years ago, they were shrouded in mystery. Not only was it difficult, if not impossible, to find photos of the band members, but the singer’s voice was often mistaken as belonging to woman, with numerous comparisons to Sade. As it turned out, that voice belongs to Mike Milosh.

Since Rhye's sensual debut, Woman, came out, Milosh has developed the project into a hugely successful touring band. He also also got out of a bad record deal, went through a divorce, and spent two years working on the new album, Blood.

Five years is a long time to wait for a new band to release a second album, but as we learn in their first visit to Studio A, Rhye’s gorgeous new collection was well worth the wait.
