Richmond Tops the Rams in OT, 77-74
Another tough loss as Fordham lets 5pt OT lead slip
It took five extra minutes, but Fordham could not hold on against Richmond, losing 77-74 at the Rose Hill Gym Saturday night.
The Rams trailed by ten in the second half, but were led by Branden Frazier who had 29 points and helped them to force overtime tied at 63.
Fordham led by five in the extra period, but a three pointer from Richmond guard Cedric Lindsay on a play where he was fouled cut the Ram lead to one. The Spiders would eventually take the lead on a three from Kendall Anthony, and that would spell the end and a fourth consecutive loss for Fordham.
The Rams are in action next on Wednesday, January 15th against Dayton at the Rose Hill Gym with a 9 o'clock tip. The One on One pregame report will air at 8:55 on both 90.7 FM and WFUVSports.org.
In the One on One Postgame Report, Chris Marasco and I disscussed the loss with Associate Head Coach David Duke.
