Today's "Sunday Supper" salutes a pair of multi-talented artists — T-Bone Burnett, who turns 70 today, and Allen Toussaint, who would've been 80. Both are known as much for their work as producers as performers. Ever since O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Burnett has been one of the leading architects of the Americana music revival, while Toussaint has been an eminent ambassdor of New Orleans music and always an elegant gentleman.

I'll also have a bunch of new music from John Gorka, Mary Gauthier, Neil Young, I'm With Her (the trio formed by Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O'Donovan), and Slingshot emerging artist Bedouine. In the final hour, a session with the Rebecca Loebe, a remarkable singer from Austin who was once a contestant on NBC's "The Voice."

Reasons enough, I hope, to join me from 5-8 p.m. EST or anytime in the Weekend Archives on the device of your choice.
