After nearly five years on Saturday nights, UKNY moves to Sunday nights at 11 p.m., following "Cavalcade." As always, UKNY focuses on emerging and more established artists from Britain, the Commonwealth, and elsewhere 'round the globe — the hopeful mission of the show is the constant discovery (or rediscovery) of music you might have never heard before via an international artist.

So tonight's show is filled with newcomers, like Bristol's Fenne Lily, South London's Amaroun, and Amsterdam's Pip Blom, who will fulfill a life's dream and open for one of her biggest influences, the Breeders, in the UK and Europe this summer.

Also, I'll have new releases from more established artists, like Edinburgh's Young Fathers, Simian Mobile Disco featuring Hackney's the Deep Throat Choir, and the Aussie-Danish duo Palace Winter, releasing their second album, Nowadays, on May 4.

Can't stay awake until midnight on a Sunday evening? Catch up to the show in the Weekend Archives, anytime after broadcast for up to two weeks.
