A very bad flu has capsized my week (and plans for an Anna Meredith session, which will air next week instead). So tonight's UKNY at 11 is a last-minute repeat of an all-avian show that was first aired last summer, with finely feathered tracks from Kelly Lee Owens, Saint Etienne, Beyond the Wizards Sleeve, XTC, Nat Johnson and more.

Do you have the flu too? Feel better! You can cough and sniffle in bed and listen back to UKNY in the Weekend Archives.

Songs played:

1. Saint Etienne, “Magpie Eyes,” Home Counties
2. XTC, “My Bird Performs,” Nonsuch
3. Kelly Lee Owens, “Bird,” Kelly Lee Owens
4. Beyond the Wizards Sleeve, “Black Crow,” The Soft Bounce
5. Smoke Fairies, “We’ve Seen Birds,” Smoke Fairies
6. Lou Rhodes, “All The Birds,” theeyesandeye
7. Grasscut, “Curlews,” Everyone Was a Bird
