Nearly four years ago, in November 2012, Temples' founding members James Bagshaw and Thomas Walmsley released their psychedelic pop gem of a single, "Shelter Song." The Kettering band, which expanded to a quartet, released its debut album, Sun Structures, in 2014 and embarked on an exhausting world tour (they finally visited the Bronx for an FUV Live session at the tail end of that long trip and they were pretty tired).

Temples' still-untitled second album is due out in early 2017 via Fat Possum and tonight on UKNY at 11, we'll hear the first single, released earlier this week, from that forthcoming collection. They'll be at Bowery Ballroom on October 26 too.

We'll also hear from Manchester's Blossoms (playing Baby's All Right on October 6), Gemma Ray (at Brooklyn's The Owl on November 16), and dig more deeply into Hannah Peel's exquisite album, Awake But Always Dreaming.

Missed the show? You can stream UKNY in the FUV Weekend Archives for two weeks after broadcast.
