Londoners' ability to face adversity with stoicism and strength has long been part of the city's complex character. Tonight's UKNY at 11 leans on new releases from artists hailing from that wondrous, diverse city like Girlhood, Girl Ray, Public Service Broadcasting, Insecure Men, and this year's 2017 Mercury Prize winner, Sampha.

Also, a final song (for now) from Sheffield's astute and witty Nat Johnson before she heads off to graduate school (and motherhood) and another remastered gem from Underworld's recent rerelease of 1999's Beaucoup Fish.
