From late July to mid-August, Marika Hackman and The Big Moon drove in a van across the country for a co-headlining North American tour; they were a cool London supergroup. With their tour manager-slash-van driver, the women zigzagged through 14 cities, from Los Angeles to Vancouver to Milwaukee and beyond, landing in New York for their final show at Brooklyn's Baby's All Right on August 16 — bleary-eyed, a little hungover, but exhilarated.

Tonight's UKNY at 11 features the FUV Live premiere of our session with Hackman, backed by the the Big Moon (they also support her on her second album, I'm Not Your Man). I'll also have an FUV Live conversation with the Big Moon, discussing their 2017 Mercury Prize nomination for their debut album, Love in the Fourth Dimension, and the chance meeting that led to their collaboration. By the end of the hour, you'll want to join the band too.

Missed tonight's show? Find it on demand immediately after broadcast in FUV's Weekend Archives.
