Islands (Future Islands) - FUV Live - 2014

After the dissolution of The Unicorns in 2004, members Nicholas Thorburn and Jamie Thompson formed the new band Islands a year later. Since then the band has gone through several musical and line-up changes, with the only constant being Nicholas Thorburn. Ski Mask is the fifth full-length album from Islands, and Thorburn describes it as, “a summation of Islands, everything we’ve ever done distilled into one record. It's basically an essential introduction to Islands—it's everything we've ever been about." The band stopped by Studio A to perform some songs from Ski Mask and you can check those out here.
