Local Music Exchange

WFUV's Rita Houston and The Current's Mark Wheat go head-to-head sharing local band tracks.

We've partnered with Minnesota Public Radio's The Current to swap 5 of each city's favorite bands and play them on the air. Each night at 7:30, Rita Houston will talk with The Current's Mark Wheat and play one song from New York and one from the Twin Cities, proving that New York's not all hipsters in skinny jeans, and that there's more to Minnesota than Prince and the Replacements. Come back each day for free MP3s of the featured bands.
