On Your Radar: Emma's Revolution/Brad Cole/Jammin' Divas

The May 14 On Your Radar at Rockwood Music Hall brought together Emma's Revolution, Brad Cole, and the Jammin' Divas.

Emma's Revolution is the veteran feminist duo from Washington, DC, consisting of Pat Humphries and Sandy O. Many of their songs draw on their commitment to social justice, though not in a heavy-handed way. Their set included a brand-new song, "Killing Game," which hasn't been released and which we include her.

On Your Radar: Cailtin Canty/Jon Shain/Poor Old Shine

On April 9 On Your Radar at Rockwood Music Hall featured Caitlin Canty, Jon Shain, and Poor Old Shine.

Caitlin Canty hails originally from Vermont, but moved to New York City after college to pursue music as a career. In addition to her own two full-length CDs, her side projects include  Darlingside, a string rock band, and the duo Down Like Silver with Peter Bradley Adams. One song she performed,"Still Here," is the lead track from her 2012 CD, Golden Hour.
