Tonight On the Whole Wide World: Cold Specks!

by Tim Pierson

Tonight on The Whole Wide World Rita Houston spins a mix of great stuff both new and old. From brand new Mumford and Sons to classic Nat King Cole, tonight's show really runs the musical gamut. The show will also feature a live session from a new artist. Cold Specks, the stage name of London-based, Canadian singer-songwriter Al Spx, stopped by Studio A earlier this week to talk with Rita Houston about her forthcoming album I Predict A Graceful Expulsion. A very humble, softspoken, even a bit quirky young woman began to speak.

A Look Back

by Rita Houston

Tonight on the Whole Wide World, we revisit an interview with U.K. superstar Adele. Before every lyric off of her album 21 was being sung by fans around the world, I had the chance to sit down with Adele and talk about the record just before its release. It's incredible to listen back on this conversation knowing how 2011 turned out for the young British artist. I hope you enjoy this insightful chat, and, of course, a Whole Wide World of tunes tonight on WFUV.
